Pupil Premium
The Abbey School offers the support needed to ensure that all children are able to make good progress and achieve to the best of their ability. Pupil Premium funding is used to provide intervention and support for literacy, maths, fine and gross motor control, speech and language and behaviour and emotional difficulties. In addition, the funding supports instrumental music lessons as well as trips, visits and enrichment activities. The school measures the effectiveness of these interventions by comparing the achievement of its pupil premium children against the achievement of all children nationally. The school is pleased that the vast majority of its pupil premium children achieve in line with, or more often ahead of, national expectations. For further details, follow the link:
